The Putnam County Family YMCA is closed due to overwhelming health concerns caused by COVID-19. We anticipate reopening April 1, but will adapt our plan as new guidance is received.
We are being proactive in this decision in order to live up to our mission of social responsibility, a promise we make to our community every time we offer a program or help a child in need. We ask that you stay with us during this difficult time and keep your membership active to utilize resources to maintain your health. This support allows the Y to be able to pay as many of our staff as possible, who are your neighbors, friends and colleagues.
We know you still have a lot of questions. We do, too. All of us are grateful for the outpouring of support many of you have expressed. We are committed to doing everything possible to secure the future of the Y, and its services, in these uncertain times.
In the midst of tremendous uncertainty, our deep commitment to community health and wellness remains unwavering. We will recover. How well and how fast is up to us. Join us in prayer for our community and our country.
Be well. Recover Strong. Stay with us.
